Let's gather and discuss our ideas and current progress in Decoupling Drupal's frontend.

Sally and I (juampy) held a session on Decoupling Drupal at Drupal Developer Days Dublin. We've made quite a bit of progress since then, especially with the DrupAngularJS Seed project and also in REST in Drupal 8.

This session is to share ideas and techniques for building sites that only use Drupal as a backend for editing content, authenticating users etc, ignoring the theme layer and consuming data from Drupal with a dedicated front-end application.

Vojta Jina (https://github.com/vojtajina) one of the main AngularJS maintainers is in Prague over coming days, he's back visiting family.
I'll try and ask him if he'd be interested in chatting about integrations between Drupal as back-end and AngularJS some time this week as I'm going to catch up for dinner and hopefully some jazz.
