I'm an independant contractor, and today, I'm just barely capable of running the whole Drupal gamut. I can site build, theme, develop, build servers, and deliver sites to my clients (along with the help of some awesome designers).
I'm worried that I won't be able to do that in a Drupal 8 world. Everything has gotten more complicated, and I won't understand the whole stack anymore.
Drupal 8 may be great for "the enterprize" and Drupal companies with lots of specialists at every level, but what about the rest of us? What about the non-profits who can't afford it, the educational institutions who need to keep it all in house, and those of us who just want to deliver a quality product to anyone who needs a "website"?
Come talk with me about how we can prepare for the world ahead.
