As an Engineer working on the Agent SDK, you will be responsible for designing and building a lightweight library for use with a variety of languages, across multiple platforms. A key part of your role will be fostering communities of New Relic users and working closely with our Platform and Agent teams. Being able to communicate with a diverse audience is an absolute must.
You may be a good candidate for this role if you have experience in a broad set of technologies and design paradigms. You should be an expert in C, but you should also relish the challenge of interfacing with, and developing in, a variety of languages and platforms.
You will stand out if you:
Have cross-platform experience
Have experience programming in C or a similar language
Have experience in SDK design
Have experience developing web service clients and using or creating RESTful interfaces
Work well as a peer in a small team of very experienced developers.
